The complex comprises many privately owned houses – the houses situated in the front row have uninterrupted sea views whilst the 2nd and 3rd row houses have restricted views (unless the house is situated at the end of the row).

The houses are serviced daily and are situated at the end of the Barra peninsula - close to the mouth of the bay.  Guests will be captivated by the views of the local fishermen in their ancient wooden dhows as they criss-cross the waters plying their daily trade.

Water is from a borehole and safe to drink.  However guests with sensitive stomachs should drink bottled water

The unit needs general maintenance.  2 of the 3 toilets were leaking. The room with the single beds was missing a curtain and had a broken door lock. Light bulbs need to be replaced. The air con remote did not work. Missing windows. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful and the sea view was amazing.

I hope the owners of the unit will look into the general maintenace of the unit.
