Palm View Lodge is a self-catering lodge situated at Barra Beach, Inhambane, Mozambique.
Situated a mere 750 metres away from the nearest beach, the lodge is built on the side of a west facing dune, overlooking the estuary with a distant view of the sea to the north. As the sun sets, the view is one of the best Barra has to offer.
Accommodation at Palm View Lodge comprises 2 timber houses each with 3 bedrooms and capable of sleeping 8 persons. Each unit sleeps 6 privately and an additional 2 on comfortable couches/beds situated in the main living area. All bedrooms are equipped with fans, mosquito nets, linen and bath towels.
The main bedroom has an en-suite bath, shower, basin and toilet. A second bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet and is shared with the remaining two bedrooms.
The main living area leads onto a deck where one can sit back, relax and take in the sunset after a day at the beach. An open plan spacious kitchen is fully equipped with everything that one will need.
Visit Pansy Island and view Sea Horses, or simply go on an Ocean Safari in search of Dolphin and Whale Shark. In season Hump Back Whales are a plenty in the Barra area. Barra has a number of restaurants and bars all of which provide tasty, affordable meals.

We really did enjoy the visit. The only thing was wish they had fans in the lounge area, but other than that it was excellent.
