Caledon Mountain Lodge is situated between Clarens and Fouriesburg in the Rooiberg Mountain Range.

This cosy, comfortable, secluded guest lodge is situated at the end of a 4km gravel road. The property is home to spectacular rock formations, caves, springs, waterfalls and splendid views from the mountain where the crisp, clean air invigorates and intoxicates!

Accommodation at Caledon Mountain Lodge is provide in 5 thatched cottages, each with spectacular views of a landscape filled with contrasting colours and scenes.

Each cottage blends seamlessly into the landscape and offers guests absolute privacy. The cottages range from two to six sleeper units, complete with full bathrooms, linen, towels and a tea/coffee station.

Guests have a choice of Full Board or Bed and Breakfast options of healthy farm style meals. The quaint restaurant and pub is a cosy African styled building with a blazing fire place for the icy winter nights. The downstairs restaurant is where guests can enjoy the homely, continental flavours created by owner-chef and upstairs is the pub and deck where crimson sunsets and inky night skies pulsate with a multitude of stars.

There are many activities in the area to keep you occupied such as fishing, hiking, horse riding and quad biking – if you are the active type. If not, enjoy the scenic views, the varied birdlife, the wholesome food and good company of your hosts.

A warm welcome awaits you at Caledon Mountain Lodge. But be warned, you may find it hard to say farewell!
