Kouga Wildernis Guest Farm is a tranquil retreat situated in Kleinriver, Joubertina - nestled amongst the Kouga Mountains and has been home to the Ferreira family since 1815. Your hosts Nico and Melodie Ferreira lovingly restored the old farm house to its former glory and it is now a haven frequented by nature lovers, mountain climbers and hikers.

This beautiful property, surrounded by large oak trees, mountain streams and a lush landscapes is now home to 8 campsites, 4 chalets and a Lapa which serves as a wonderful country wedding venue.

The diverse campsites provide nature lovers and campers a choice of various campsites, each offering unique views and facilities – enveloped by mountains, streams, oak trees and orchards. Warm water and ablution facilities are provided at each site, electricity is available at the Side Wing and Main Camp site. In addition, a parked caravan, placed under a large old oak tree near a stream, offers self-catering accommodation for 4 guests – a great idea for those looking for extra camping comfort!

The 2 wooden self-catering chalets accommodate 5 guests in 2 bedrooms and have fully equipped kitchens, bathrooms, braai (barbeque) facilities and an indoor fireplace to enjoy during the cold winter evenings. The one chalet offers an amazing landscape while the other a private watering hole to enjoy a quick dip during the hot summer months.

The ‘Oom Carel Se Huis’ provides one with a true farmhouse experience. Finished with wooden ceilings, stable doors and a large patio overlooking the landscape. Perfect for a large group, accommodating 12 guests with a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms as well as an indoor fireplace.

Oumas House is an old fashioned, 6 sleeper house which provides beautiful views of the surrounding bush and mountains. Complete with 2 bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen and bathroom.

This working farm at Kouga Wildernis not only provides breath-taking scenery and accommodation, the farm also boasts an inviting freshwater swimming pool and various activities in the area include hiking trails, fishing, abseiling and rock climbing.
