ACCOMMODATION OVERVIEW

Umbhaba Eco Lodge is situated just 1km outside Hazyview on the R40, between Hazyview and White River. The eco-friendly lodge is surrounded by natural, indigenous bush including the Umbhaba Tree after which the lodge is named.

The lodge is built among stunning dams and water features, overlooking the Sabie valley in the distance. Ideal for bird enthusiasts with an abundant bird life and the most beautiful sunsets, making it the perfect location for a sundowner after an exciting safari in the nearby Kruger National Park (just 15kms away – to the Numbi and Phabeni Gate) 

Accommodation comprises Standard and Superior rooms – each option includes breakfast, air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, hairdryers and a hospitality tray. Complimentary Wi-Fi, wake-up service and housekeeping is included in the rate. The Superior Rooms are situated on the ground floor and are complete with king or twin size beds and a patio overlooking the dam. The Standard Rooms are also situated on the ground floor with a patio overlooking the garden.

The main building comprises of the Tuskers Restaurant, which overlooks the Sabie Valley and offers a relaxed atmosphere and caters for breakfast, a light lunch and dinners. 

The eco-friendly lodge is passionate about the environment and therefore use their grey water to irrigate the lawns and gardens. In addition to that, the air-conditioners and geysers are power friendly to reduce electricity consumption and all plastics, glass and metal cans are recycled. 

Guests are encouraged to enjoy the beautiful warm weather and laze by the pool area with a cocktail in hand, that one can enjoy from the nearby bar and lounge. Sun loungers and pool towels are available.
