Being in close proximity of many well-known scenic and historic attractions of the area, the establishment in its tranquil setting is ideal for a relaxing and refreshing break-away from a busy schedule.

This romantic, thatched self-catering chalet offers cosy accommodation for 2 to 4 guests.  Beautifully styled, the chalet comprises an open plan area with a kitchenette, queen size bed, a small loft (accessed by a ladder) which has two single mattresses and a bathroom.

The kitchenette is equipped with most of the basic cooking facilities and utensils, crockery, cutlery, a mini-fridge, a 2-plate mini-stove and microwave oven.  A portable grid on the outside verandah is also available for a braai (barbeque).

From the veranda or from the sprawling lawn outside you can watch breath-taking sunrises over the Mpumalanga escarpment or enjoy a warm fire and evening barbecue while the sun sets behind the western mountain ridge.

For the energetic, a hike up the mountain from where you can see “forever” could be just what is required to relieve some stress and tension. Should you decide to stay in bed during the odd misty day, a DVD player with monitor and a variety of movie titles are available which you can snooze through.

Situated less than 4 hours’ drive from Johannesburg, Wild Forest Inn is located 5km from Graskop, 10km from Pilgrim’s Rest and 24km from Sabie.
