Avocet House in Barra, Inhambane is a superb self-catering lodge with private swimming pool and large entertainment area with marvellous sea views. Accommodation at Avocet House is provided in 4 comfortable en-suite bedrooms which surround the pool - all linked via wooden walkways to the main lounge, kitchen and entertainment area. Each bedroom is air-conditioned and has single beds pushed together to make a king size bed. The spacious tiled kitchen is fully equipped for self catering and features a microwave, electric frying pan, toaster and kettle. The kitchen counter is open plan to the lounge and entertainment area. The large partially covered deck which houses the outdoor entertainment and braai area is the perfect spot to enjoy the setting sun whilst sipping on something delicious! The beach is a short 10 minute walk from Avocet House. Avocet House guests can enjoy a selection of tasty meals and beverages at the many restaurants and bars situated within close proximity.
