Named after the 5 enormous Baobab trees on the property, this popular backpacker and camping lodge offers clean, colourful and comfortable accommodation in a selection of dorm rooms, chalets and camp sites. A fully equipped communal kitchen is provided for guests staying in the chalets, huts and dorms. The separate male and female dormitories with garden views sleep 8 people and share communal ablutions and kitchen. The Ethnic Huts are situated in the garden and each hut has a double bed. Guests staying in the Ethnic Huts share communal ablutions. The Beachfront Chalets at Baobab Beach each sleep 4 people and have beautiful views across the ocean to the islands. Each chalet has a double bed plus a bunk bed, en suite bathroom and private verandah. The Modern Beachfront Chalets sleeps 3 people. These chalets have 1 double bed and a single bed, private bathroom, patio with sea views and a hammock in the garden. The Family Beachfront Chalets can accommodate 4 people. There is a double bed and two single beds and bathroom. There are shaded and grassy campsites situated further from the beach and share the communal ablution facilities. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves up a selection of local fare as well as pizzas, burgers, steaks and salads. Facilities at the lodge include a bar, a communal kitchen and outdoor undercover dining area, communal ablutions, a pool, various chill areas and a pool table. Baobab Beach is well located on a white sandy beach overlooking the islands of the Archipelago of Bazaruto. The town centre is just a 10-minute stroll and activities in the area include a diving, snorkeling, island hops, dhow trips, fishing and village tours.
