Offering a tranquil self-catering stay, the lodge provides breathtaking vistas over the dam and the pine forests, creating an idyllic setting for a peaceful and scenic escape. All of the units sit right on the edge of the dam, so that you wake to a Midlands water vista and pine forest. During mid-winter you might be lucky enough to enjoy a few days of snow, mostly July and August. Accommodation comprises 3 separate self-catering units; the Main Lodge which can be booked as a group for up to 16 guests, the 8 sleeper Homestead Lodge and the 4 sleeper Lakeside Cabin. The 16 sleeper Main Lodge is built on the edge of the 4-hectare Brown and Rainbow trout dam. A wrap around deck balcony with outdoor table and chairs is provided as well as a fully equipped modern kitchen (gas stove and oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher) with an open plan living area with log fireplace. The Main Lodge has 6 bathrooms. The beautiful 4 bedroom (8 sleeper) Homestead Lodge is a log style home built on the edge of the dam. A wrap around balcony overlooks the dam and is also equipped with a modern kitchen, 2 bathrooms and open plan living area with log fireplace. Nestled between the Main Lodge and The Homestead, is the 2-Bedroom Lakeside Cabin - ideal for a small family or a couple's getaway. Beautifully appointed with a private deck overlooking the dam. For those who enjoy the peaceful life, the area surrounding BrambleBerry Country Lodge abounds with birdlife and scenic walks. The magnificent farm and surrounding areas offer excellent mountain bike trails and easy access to restaurants, pubs and tourist attractions in the vicinity.
