Translated as “Place of Peace”, Ekuthuleni Lodge is a soothing and idyllic home-away-from-home; an African bush escape that offers guests peace and serenity. With four suites constructed from thatch and beautiful stonework, they feature king-sized beds, en-suite bathrooms with indoor/outdoor showers & a large bathtubs and a private outdoor terrace overlooking the plain. The Family Suite has a king-sized bed with en-suite bathroom as well as twin beds on the mezzanine level that can accommodates up to two children (6 years and older). Rates include fully serviced luxury accommodation, 2 x game drives per day in open safari vehicles with sundowners and snacks, all meals, all beverages (excluding premium brands) and Wi-fi in the central area. Road transfer from the Welgevonden Main Gate or either of the 2 runways to the lodge are also included. The lodge facilities include a lounge, dining area, bar, swimming pool, outdoor boma and a game viewing deck. During your stay at Ekuthuleni, you will venture out on early morning and late afternoon/evening game drives conducted in open safari vehicles and led by professional rangers. Guided bush walks provide the opportunity to learn more about the fauna and flora and the smaller interesting creatures living on the reserve. The bushmen paintings are a must-see during your stay.
