They can also easily travel to the nearby Makgadikgadi Pans and Newtwe Pan. Trips to the Nxai Pans can also be arranged. Accommodation at Gweta Lodge is comfortable, with several options to choose from. There are 15 rooms that can accommodate a total of 38 people comfortably. The single and double rooms are thatched and feature en-suite bathrooms with twin or double beds, complete with mosquito nets. The Family Rooms can accommodate up to 4 guests, offering en-suite bathrooms, ceiling fans, and mosquito nets. Gweta Lodge boasts a central pool area that includes the restaurant, bar, and a relaxed seating area. Guests can enjoy their evening meals under the star-studded African sky. The lodge offers excellent quality food, and buffet options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available, either in the outdoor braai area or in the airy, open-sided restaurant. Trips to Makgadikgadi National Park and Nxai Pan can be arranged, allowing guests to experience the remote and unspoiled wilderness. It is essential to book these trips, safaris, and other activities in advance, as experienced guides are required to accompany all the Gweta Lodge guests.
