This upmarket self-catering tented camp and cottage will appeal to those who love outdoors experiences. A mere 5 minute stroll to a pristine beach, this stylish glamping property is set on 15 acres on the edge of Black Lake and borders the Mpenjati Nature Reserve. There are four luxury glamping tents and a beautiful 2 bedroom holiday cottage for holiday rentals. The Glamping Tents are built on wooden decks overlooking a freshwater lake. Each tent sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms; 1 x queen size bed and 2 x single beds per tent. The tents have en-suite bathrooms leading to a semi-outdoor double shower. The tents are equipped with tea/coffee trays and there is a fan in each unit. The spacious decks have braai facilities and outdoor dining furniture. Guests staying in Wagtail and Falcon tents can enjoy their own private splash pool. For those who prefer bricks and mortar, Fisheagle Holiday Cottage is a stylish cottage which can accommodate 4 people in 2 spacious bedrooms which are cooled by fans. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed with an en-suite bathroom with shower only, the 2nd bedroom has two single beds, with a full en-suite bathroom. The Cottage has a lounge with DSTV and the kitchen is equipped with a microwave, fridge / freezer, kettle, toaster, oven, double-sink and dishwasher, as well as a washing machine. There is also a fire-pit, outside beach shower and sparkling pool for guests to enjoy. The main beach has world class Blue Flag status and is great for surfing and swimming. When the conditions allow, the rocky reef just offshore, provides an excellent spot for snorkeling, where you will find fossilized remains of shellfish, various fish species, plant material and petrified wood. These 90 million year old fossil beds are located a short distance from the shoreline, so that at low tide it is possible for visitors to walk out and examine these ancient remains.
