Lagoon Drive 15 is a lovely, spacious single storey house located less than 1km from the main beach in Salt Rock, on the beautiful North Coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal. The house can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms within the main house, plus an additional flatlet that can host 2 guests. The flatlet is a studio style unit with a queen-size bed, couch, standing fan and a bathroom fitted with a shower. For the price paid I was disappointed in the bathrooms ( Bath in 2nd bathroom was scary and the bathroom felt unhygienic and as we all had to use one shower , water flowed into the bathroom after every shower so waterlogged for next person - not a great experience at all ) , lighting in the bedrooms and main bathroom poor with no shower . Cupboards in main bedroom not big enough for 2 adults to stay for 8 days - my wife lived out her suitcase from the study and no full length mirrors available ) Ad clearly stated 3 bathrooms in main house and one bathroom in flatlet, and that was not the case Flatlet shower water leaked into toilet area as super small space, lighting here also poor and kitchenette is not really a kitchenette more like a bigger room with a TV We had 4 small yorkies with us who were well behaved but the dog next door ( no 13 Lagoon Drive ) barked one night all night ( which was painful ) and constantly barked when we were in the pool .the smaller dog in No 15 was no problem On a positive note , the living area , dining room , TV was an awesome place to spend time as a family and the kitchen appliances and room fans were very good ( needed that - as no Aircon in KZN humidity ) No patio when it rains makes it impossible to braai but outside patio set is a nice area to relax Domestic was a great help and did what she needed to do Garden nice , pool was great after runs and area safe and garden secure for small doggies which we appreciated. Overall , nice location but lots of work required in the house to improve the overall experience and value for money

1. Need to find a way to create a patio environment ( maybe a big patio umbrella could work ) 2. Bathrooms need to improve - somehow ( biggest disappointment ) / need to urgently improve showers to prevent water overflow into bathrooms 3. Lighting needs to be looked at in bedrooms and bathrooms 4. Maybe a tumble dryer could assist with washing as rainy weather makes drying very difficult We still made the best of our time there and the weather played along as we had 7 out of 8 days of sun - this place could be amazing with a little more work in areas mentioned above . I have provided lots of feedback but I think it's important for future visits - would I come back to this place for what I paid , probably not unless some changes were made .
