Mamagalie Lodge offers 6 separate and private individual self-catering 'lodges', each individually styled and each with unique attributes. Mountain Lodge (12 sleeper) Mountain Lodge is a 4 bedroom (12 sleeper) self-catering lodge with a full equipped, kitchen, lounge/dining area, swimming pool and large braai/fire pit. Decorated in warm tones and furnished with heavy wooden furniture, this is a great choice for a group of friends who wish to relax and unwind in the great outdoors. Forest Lodge (3 sleeper) Forest Lodge is a unique 1 bedroom self-catering unit set in the midst of an indigenous Wild Olive Forest. This secluded lodge is solar powered and styled 'safari style' with a 4 poster bed in the main bedroom draped with netting and featuring a rooftop skylight which filters dappled sunlight into the room. A sofa bed in the lounge is provided for a child. The deck is built into the trees and the large double bathroom with skylights give the impression of being in a tree house. Bush Lodge (4 people) Bush Lodge is a 2 sleeper, which can convert to a 4 sleeper self-catering unit. This solar powered unit set in a sheltered kloof is not serviced to ensure the utmost privacy (servicing can be arranged with prior notice). Set on 3 levels and raised into the tree canopy, Bush Lodge has stunning views and prolific bird life. The bedroom is housed in a spacious safari tent with wooden panelling inside and a roof overhead, whilst the lounge area features a fireplace for the chilly winter evenings. In addition, the braai area, adjacent to a small plunge pool, makes the hot summer days pleasurable. River Lodge (2 people) The self-catering River Lodge is a one bedroom unit with scenic views over a small stream. This unit is fully equipped for self-catering and features a plunge pool and braai area. Serenity Lodge (2 sleeper) Serenity Lodge offers stunning views over the Magaliesburg Mountains. Peaceful and private, this unit is fully equipped for self-catering with a glass enclosed verandah offering an outside shower and large double spa bath. A private braai and wood heated plunge pool add a special touch. Tranquility Lodge (2 sleeper) This unit comprises a single room nestled amongst the trees alongside a small stream. A modern tree house perched 8 metres off the ground, it has an outside shower and a private plunge pool and braai facilities. All guests staying at Mamagalie Lodge have full access to the hiking trails around the farm. The rock pools are 5km away, well worth the hike to savour a delicious picnic on arrival. Game in the area includes Blesbok, Gemsbok, Impala, Kudu, Wildebeest, Waterbuck and Zebra. RATES & PAYMENTS Rates are an estimate and will be confirmed when making your reservation.
