A 50% deposit secures and the balance is required 1 month prior to arrival. 2024 RATES Low Season R3 000.00 per house per night (minimum 3 night stay) R1 700.00 per night (maximum 2 people) - only applicable during low season High Season – Minimum 5 night stay R4 000.00 per house per night Peak Season R6 000.00 per house per night – December Holidays (Minimum 7 night stay) 2025 RATES Low Season (Minimum 3 night stay) R3 300.00 per house per night R1 900.00 per house per night (2 people) High Season (Minimum 5 night stay) R4 400.00 per house per night (minimum 5 night stay) Peak Season (Minimum 7 night stay during December holidays) R6 600.00 per house per night (minimum 7 night stay) Electricity The homeowner provides R100 per day, thereafter guests responsible for topping up the power meter. Breakage/Damage Deposit A refundable R1 500.00 cash breakage/damage deposit is required on check-in and will be refunded on check-out pending any deductions for damages/losses. If they are damaged, guests will be charged. A Wi-Fi router is provided. Guests are required to buy a local sim card and data from the Vodacom store in town (take your passport with). Please do not reset the router, this makes it difficult for the next guests to use it. Mar e Sol House 7 does not have DSTV. There are rechargeable torches scattered around the house, please keep them plugged in, and as much as you may like them, please leave them when you leave for the next guests. The monkeys in the complex are notorious for taking any food they can. Be sure to keep an eye out while in the unit. When you leave to explore or visit the beach, please close up everything as they can leave quite a mess. No smoking permitted inside the house. No open fires permitted; a gas braai is provided. Guests shall be responsible to the lodge for any damage to premises, furniture or other objects and for the removal of any item from the premises. Cleaners will clean bathrooms, make the beds and sweep the floors. Should guests require additional tasks, please arrange with the manager. Border Transfers to Mar E Sol are available on request for non 4x4 vehicles. There is safe parking at the border for approximately R50.00 per day.
