Mohave Bush Camp is a 10 sleeper bush camp situated in the Tuli Block Reserve, a mere 6 hour drive from Johannesburg. Offering superb game viewing at affordable rates, Mohave Bush Camp provides a true and unique wilderness experience. Accommodation at Mohave Bush Camp consists of five units that overlook the dry Mohave River. Two of the units are 'tent-like' with en-suite ablutions and glass sliding doors offering views of the bush. The remaining three units are hut-shaped and feature en-suite outdoor ablutions. The camp is powered by a solar system, providing 220V electricity. All rooms are equipped with a ceiling fan and an electric light. Electric fridges and freezers are also available. Shower water is heated using a combination of gas geysers and donkey boilers. A central lapa and dining area, situated between the huts, provides a perfect setting for late-night bush chats while listening to the magical night sounds of elephants, lions, brown and spotted hyenas, civets, genets, and African wild cats. Guests staying at Mohave Bush Camp can also enjoy cooling down in the small splash pool at the camp. The night sounds heard at Mohave are truly magical, and guests may see game such as elephants, lions, brown and spotted hyenas, civets, genets, and African wild cats in and around the camp. The camp does not have electricity, so lighting is provided by gas, paraffin, and solar power. However, an electrical outlet is available for charging devices and phones. Camp attendants are on hand to lay the tables, wash up dishes, make fires, light lanterns and undertake all housekeeping duties. Guests can also enjoy bush dinners at an additional charge should you be interested in a dinner with a difference. Mohave Bush Camp guests have the option of self-catering or fully catered stays, with rates including a dedicated guide and game viewer. Visitors are also encouraged to visit the magnificent Eagle Rock. The Mohave River is a hotspot for game movements, and the camp's remote location ensures that guests will truly feel immersed in the wilderness!

This levy is paid to the Tuli Conservation Trust. Laundry can be arranged at our camps for an additional charge. None of the camps are fenced and therefore it is not uncommon to find many species of animals in and about the camps. We do not permit any unaccompanied walking or driving around the reserve.
