True to its name, Motswiri Private Safari Lodge stands out as an exclusive retreat, providing their guests with an intimate, exciting bush experience that cannot be matched by larger establishments. The lodge, situated just 3 hours' drive from Johannesburg, boasts some of the most breathtaking views in Madikwe. This is complemented by the serene ambiance created by mature trees, predominantly Leadwoods. Nestled beneath these majestic trees are the main lodge building, five Luxurious Bush Villas and the inviting Luxury Family Villa, all designed to offer a unique and personal connection with the natural surroundings. Motswiri Private Safari Lodge is able to host up to 16 guests making it a perfect option for both individual bookings or group bookings who do not wish to share the facilities with other guests. Luxury Bush Villas The spacious Luxury Bush Villas each boast large bedrooms, a private deck with stunning views, en-suite bathrooms with large corner baths, and a private outside shower. Add the double-sided gas fireplaces, air-conditioning and coffee stations and you have a bush experience second to none. Two children can be accommodated on stretchers. Luxury Family Villa The Luxury Family Villa offer three rooms each with their own air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms and outside showers. Further to this, the Family Villa offers guests a private lounge area leading out onto a private deck and plunge pool. At the main Motswiri Private Safari Lodge, guests can enjoy the tempting rim-flow pool which overlooks a waterhole frequented by a variety of game, or kick back and relax in the open plan lounge/bar. Delicious African inspired dishes are served in the dining room or around a blazing fire in the boma. Staff offer personal service in a relaxed but professional manner and the twice daily game drives are conducted by dedicated rangers with extensive knowledge of the local flora, fauna and birdlife.
