The lodge has 11 double chalets and 2 family units, which can accommodate 30 people in total. The family units have 2 bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. All chalets are equipped with mini bar fridges, tea/coffee trays and air-con. Parents to ensure children are under adult supervision at all times. Guests may bring their own boats. Boats should be launched from the Mpalane Bay, and launch sites depend on water levels. There is approximately 12 km graveled road to Nkwazi. Settlement of the account is required at the Nkwazi Lodge office upon departure. Accepted credit cards: Mastercard and Visa only. Mobile reception available for MTN, Vodacom, and Cell C networks. The lodge falls within a low-risk malaria area (Pongola Game Reserve). The speed limit within the reserve is 30 km/h. Guests are not permitted to harass the animals. Removal of plants or firewood from the reserve is strictly prohibited. Littering is not permitted on the reserve. Air rifles, catapults, motorcycles, and pets are not allowed on the reserve.
