Located on the dunes on the ‘light house’ side of the Praia de Barra, this secluded spot was carefully chosen for its magnificent sea views, pristine beach (100m away) and the cool sea breezes. A high standard of accommodation is provided at Ondas de Mar. Four of the tastefully furnished chalets (Orca, Beluga, Humpback & Blue Whale) sleep 8 guests and comprise 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with showers and an open plan lounge/kitchen area equipped with all the modern kitchen appliances. These 8 sleeper chalets are equipped with DSTV. Please bring own smart card & decoder. With the exception of Whaleshark, all Ondas de Mar chalets have private splash pools or a jacuzzi on the deck, overlooking the ocean. Whale Shark is a 3 bedroom (5 sleeper) chalet which has a bathroom, open plan kitchen, lounge, dining and a patio. Two of the bedrooms have double beds, the 3rd small bedroom has a single bed. This chalet does not have a television but does have lovely seaviews, an extra shower outside and is situated very close to the beach. The surrounding area offers an abundance of sightseeing opportunities, activities and a variety of bars and restaurants. Ondas de Mar is the ideal Mozambique destination, whether you are looking to pack as much adventure and activity into your schedule as possible, catch that elusive Marlin, or just sit back and enjoy a good novel.
