The houseboat is a popular destination for holiday makers and avid fisherman, with 27 species of fish including Tiger Fish – just 3.5 hours from King Shaka International Airport. The Shayamanzi Houseboat offers fully serviced accommodation with 6 cabin crew and 3 tender boats. The houseboat may also be booked exclusively for groups, weddings, special celebrations or corporate functions. The 20 sleeper dream cruiser is set on 3 levels and offers 6 luxury double en-suite cabins and 4 en-suite pontoon cabins on the lowest deck with 3 porthole viewing windows. These cabins also have a small seating area, which is convertible for additional bedding for young children. Each cabin features air-conditioning, linen, plug points, hairdryers and fans. The large sliding doors enable one to hear the hippos snorting in the nearby bay and at night the opportunity to enjoy the stars reflecting on the water’s edge. The fully serviced Shayamanzi Houseboat is equipped with DSTV and a home theatre system with a wide variety of music to enjoy – for the more fun at heart, there is even karaoke! Guest can soak up summer cocktails whilst relaxing in the 12 seater jacuzzi or simply enjoy some peace and quiet on the outdoor chaise loungers.
